We had a truly memorable stay just outside Rovaniemi in a beautiful yurt surrounded by nature. Despite the freezing temperatures outside, the yurt was incredibly cozy and warm, making it a perfect winter retreat.

One of the highlights was having breakfast delivered directly to our room each morning—a lovely touch that made our stay feel even more special. The staff were genuinely friendly and attentive, always happy to help.

Because the location is a bit outside the city, there's very little light pollution, which made it an ideal spot for watching the northern lights. We were lucky enough to see them during our stay, and it was absolutely breathtaking.

If you're looking for a peaceful, unique, and comfortable experience close to Rovaniemi—but away from the crowds—this is the place to be!

Absolutely fantastic stay in this cosy place. The owners and employees are so nice and the lapland meal we had at the little café next dorr was wonderful. You need to stay there if you want to experience something unique. |The sauna was so great and throwing yourself in the snow afterwards is so much fun 🙂

on a trip to lapland with a young family 5 and 8 we stayed here for one night . the only negative i can think of is one night was too short! ||The Yurt was amazing , was so so cool but yet so so warm and cosy ! the beds were very comfortable and the glass roof skylight was lovely to fall asleep looking out. there is a lovely shed with a fire in it that you can cook your own dinner , there also a cute little shop where you can buy anything u may need. ||There also a lovely small cafe / restaurant on site where we got hot chocolates .it was lovey and homely ||to add to the beautiful surrounds and great amenities the staff here were so so nice and very helpfully . if i could give this place 10 stars i would !!!

We roadtripped Finland and stayed in many places and this was our favorite! We received the best hospitality with our host, Gigi, who accommodated us and made sure coffee and food was delivered to our yurt. We decided to schedule the sauna and it was a wonderful decision. The trail up to the hilltop is a great view and worth checking out, you can do this for free. The restrooms are maintained and warm. Gigi also gave us great advice to view the northern lights. We got lucky and saw them that night, right outside our door. Thank you Gigi!

Absolutely loved this place - the yurks are cosy and warm, kind service and an awesome location for both the northern lights (expansive space, no light pollution- we were fortunate with brilliant auroras), and fun activities like sledding. We will definitely be back. Highly recommend.

We would never usually stay in accommodation with a shared bathroom, though per previous reviews these are modern and extremely clean. The WiFi is also solid.

Yurt district really did provide the most magical and wild stay for our first time to Finland. Being so close to the forest and having the river right next to the yurts provided the most amazing views and sense of being deep in the wilds of the Artic circle. As animal enthusiasts, it was a real opportunity to see reindeer within the forests during our trek to the hill top view, as well as the being greeted by them just outside your accommodation. ||The yurts did not only provide comfort and warmth, but a real insight to Lappish culture. Being able to cook your own food over an open fire within the barn was a real experience and provided a view of how cooking has been performed many years before. ||We were very lucky to see the northern lights two nights out of the three night stay and with the accommodations remote location, it really did provide a show like no other. ||The staff were so helpful during out stay and even helped us get to the airport when our taxi failed to show up. If you are looking for a place that provides the best views of nature, silence away from cities, and an insight to Lappish culture, look no further. We cannot wait to return.

Returned last night, and we have woke up this morning feeling sad . The yurt was fantastic , it was warm and cozy and very spacious . Enough facilities to see you through the morning . No tv , which we found excellent !! Katti and her team were first to none - absolutely fantastic. We dearly miss the place and I am already looking at booking for next Christmas - for longer this time , now I know my daughter likes the snow . The location was brilliant, some may find it far out but we saw the northern lights 2/3 nights so it was brilliant. Definitely recommend hiring a car . Would recommend a light near the kettle area as was a bit dim while my daughter was eating at the table , other than that, DONT change anything

Immer auf der Suche nach außergewöhnlichen Aufenthalten, sollte es diesmal urig und authentisch sein. Was für ein Erlebnis, in so einer Hütte zu wohnen mitten in der Natur. Sehr freundliche Damen vor Ort, die ausnahmsweise auch später als geplant- nachts auch mal Grillfeuer machen. Frühstück war ein bisschen happig, etwas mehr wäre toll.
