Das einchecken um 22.30 lief klasse. Ich wurde von einem Mitarbeiter freundlich begrüßt, er hat mir mein Zimmer gezeigt. Die Türverriegelung ging sehr schwer auf, weil es klemmte. Und es war ein komisches Verriegeln. Ich kenne Schlösser die wenn man nach links dreht, aufgeschlossen wird, und wenn man nach rechts dreht, ab geschlossen wird. Nein, das war hier anders. Ich wollte auf Toilette gehen, und hatte den Schlüssel im Zimmer gelassen und zu zugezogen. Ich kam natürlich nicht rein. Ein freundlicher Mitarbeiter hat mir aber geholfen, und hat den Ersatzschlüssel geholt. Mein Zimmer war sauber, Bett war sehr bequem, aber zu wenig Steckdosen am Bett. Der Lichtschalter hatte ein Wackelkontakt, sodass ein Licht erst nicht ausgehen wollte, aber nach vielen drauf drücken ging es aus.
Dusche war ok, es gab kein Abzieher, das Bad dann unter Wasser, da kein Duschvorhang vorhanden war.

We stayed 2 nights in this hostel that has separate rooms and dormitory rooms for men and women. The price was very reasonable and I suppose you get what you pay for. Also it is in a very good location in the center of the town.
We found our twin room (Room 4) comfortable and spacious. There is an external door to the overgrown garden but there is covered seating just outside, which we made use of. The room was clean enough and the beds reasonably comfortable. There are some annoying things though. Firstly the door locks are tricky to use and you need to slam to close them, which annoys others. The light switch sometimes doesn’t work and the window was difficult to close.
There are shared bathrooms and toilets through out. The upstairs shower doesn’t work so well so the guests up there come downstairs.
Never saw the owners and the others guests didn’t abide by the rules with the kitchen use and noise after 10pm. Nothing in the kitchen was in its right place and the cooking tray was very greasy and never cleaned. It would be an even better place if there was more supervision.

Hakahata

Nice guesthouse, 10 minutes on footh to the city center and 5 minutes on footh to Arktikum museum. While there, only I was in the dormitory, but one night. The guesthouse is well kept and clean. You have everything to cook. Only one bathroom is ok if you are alone or few guests are living in the house. When it would be fully booked I cannot image how one bathroom can be enough for all the guests.

Hintalaatu suhde kohdillaan, edullinen ja oikein sopiva yhden yön nukkumiseksi ohikulkumatkalla. Siisti, hiljainen talo ja iso yksityinen huone. Asiakaspalvlvelu vastasi heti puhelimeen ja saimme vastauksen kysymyksiin. Ilmainen pysäköinti. Muut majoittujat olivat mukavia.

Wo ich in das Zimmer reingekommen bin sah das so aus, als ob da noch jemand drinne gelegen hat und dann das Rest sieht ihr auf den Fotos.

First of all I'm wondering why it is listed as hotel on some booking sites as it clearly more like a youth hostel. Our room in general was ok and clean but there was a lot of dust on the wall next to the ventilation system. The shared bathrooms were kind of ok. Problem was that the whole room was completly wet when some people showered as they didn't care about the others and you just had small towles. It was also really strange that a guy slept on the couch in the shared living room. As he was basically there the whole day it made you feel uncomfortable to use the living room. This happened as he booked a room in the women dormitory by mistake. The owners should check that something like this doesn't happen. The host was very friendly and helpful. The only real positive thing was the location. It took you about 5-10 minutes to the city center. For the price we paid we expected way more.
