This happened at the Santa Claus Office Gift Shop, right next to the official Santa meeting point.
I accidentally bumped into an overloaded souvenir rack and knocked off a few trinkets. I picked them up and moved on.
At the exit, the alarm went off — I didn’t think much of it, because I had no reason to.
When the staff called me back, I returned immediately. One small item had slipped into the open pocket of my backpack — it was handed back at once.

Still, my ID was photographed without clear consent, no apology was offered, and I was told the CCTV footage wouldn’t be checked “today.”

I fully expect the footage to be reviewed — not ignored just because the item was of little value. And I expect an apology for the way this was handled.

The Santa in Santa’s Office is much better. This is a rip-off to target tourists who don’t know better. The photo is €40. You will have to wait in line and tour groups can pay more money to skip to the front of the line making you wait longer. This is a waste of time. They have a short history of Christmas traditions around the world, however the dolls/mannequins in the exhibits are a bit creepy.

The Santa’s Office programme is more thought out and an authentic Santa experience. It’s less cheesy. Their photo is only €32 and they also have an option to purchase a video of your meeting with Santa. They will give you a meeting time so you don’t have to wait in as long of a line (there will still be a short wait).

I am writing this email to inform you that we went to Santa Claus Village on Thursday 12/8/22 and bought souvenirs at the Santa Claus Claus Village on Thursday 12/8/22 and bought souvenirs at the Santa Claus Village Oy Shop B store. We bought a cup and 3 magnets. Upon leaving through the door of the store my partner slipped because the floor was full of ice and fell down the stairs also filled with ice, breaking the cup and hurting himself. When I entered to explain what had happened, they told me that it was not their problem and they didn't just ask my partner if he had hurt himself. A shame the treatment received by Sofia and her manager who dispatched us because she had to leave

Hier gibt es tolle Souvenirs zu kaufen. Süßkram, Rentierfleisch, Klamotten, Magneten und allerlei anderes Zeug. Außerdem kann man hier Santa treffen. Wir waren sehr früh hier und mussten überhaupt nicht anstehen. Es war ein tolles Erlebnis. Das Foto davon kostet 35 €.

Santa Village can be a nice place and all but some people just down right don’t know customer service. I went into a Tunturi-Tuote at the Santa Claus Gift House at the end of the hall and the clerk whistled at me and started yelling at me and calling me out in front of other customers saying he will break my phone if I did not delete a picture I did not take. I was actually looking at a Snapchat message my friend had sent me. This is NOT customer service and nobody should be treated like that. For a guy dressed as Santa Claus, DO BETTER AND TREAT YOUR CUSTOMERS WITH RESPECT!!! I did not know it was a rule to not have phones but if it’s a rule, just tell the customer instead of yelling at them in front of other people. Luckily, I did meet one very friendly person at the information booth who was really friendly and is the perfect example of customer service and other store owners were really kind. But Santa Claus Village, do better in making sure your store owners respect the people around them.

Shameful the situation we have experienced in the store. My boy took some magnets along with other things we bought and when looking at the sizes of some shirts, he inadvertently put the magnets in his pockets and forgot. When we left the alarm sounded and of course we went to the counter to see what was happening. Obviously they were the imams, and we were going to pay them because at no time was the intention to steal it. The boy accused us of being thieves in front of everyone, even threatening to call the police. Very rude. I do not recommend the store because of the poor service and because the prices are much more expensive than in other places. The clerk's performance is ridiculous.
