Excellent séjour dans cet hôtel très confortable, propre, feutrée et typique (ancienne prison), et calme ! Nous avons eu la chance d’être surclassé pour mon anniversaire dans une chambre spacieuse avec un lit King size dont la literie était au top et extrêmement propre ! L’accueil était très aimable ! Pour le prix, le petit déjeuner était inclus (gargantuesque et excellent avec un large choix de produits pour tous les goûts) ainsi que le dîner ! Possibilité de prendre le goûter gratuitement l’après-midi ! L’hôtel est à proximité du centre en 5-10 minutes à pied et le tram passe également devant ! Je recommande +++ cet hôtel lors de votre venue à Helsinki !

I stayed 2 nights and it was amazing! The idea of transforming an old prison into a hotel is brilliant, it gives you a truly unique experience. The atmosphere is full of character, and the combination of history and comfort makes it really special.

スタンダードルームに宿泊しましたが、1人で滞在するには十分な広さがあり、とても快適に過ごせました。平日の利用だったため料金も比較的リーズナブルで、コストパフォーマンスも良いと感じました。午後3時から提供されるコーヒーとケーキ、そして18時からの夕食をいただきましたが、どちらも味・雰囲気ともに満足度が高く、とても美味しかったです。翌朝は早朝便のため朝食をいただけなかったのが残念ですが、次回はぜひ体験したいと思います。またヘルシンキに来る際には、ぜひ再訪したいホテルです。

Ticked all of the boxes for us. Although only the 2 of us we reserved a family room. We had special requirements upon booking - an allergy friendly room and my husband is coeliac and required gluten free options for meals. Room so clean and sooo quiet, a great location for getting around. Bed is a 10/10 for comfort - yay!! Housekeeping you are amazing and your efforts are not unnoticed - although room and bathroom was older style it was spotless and I felt cared for by this. But hey! It is an historical hotel and we chose it for this experience. Chef and kitchenstaff are all over the gluten free requirements, breakfast was the best, even a separate toaster for the GF bread and the options were plentiful and delicious - thank you, thank you, thank you. A heartfelt mention to Dana who was so helpful at reception during our stay and so kind when we appeared dishevelled and exhausted from our early morning flight. Photos taken to show exactly what we experienced. Anyone who has mobility issues do advise when you book as you need a pole vault to get into the shower/bath in this particular room but this did not bother us. Highly recommend to all. Thank you🤗

Valitsin hotellin sen historian vuoksi, enkä pettynyt. Myöskin huoneen hintaan kuuluva aamupala, päiväkahvi ja päivällinen toimivat varaukseni "kannustimena." Hotelli oli siisti ja vastaanotto ystävällinen ja lämmin, myös ravintolan henkilökunta oli ystävällistä sekä etenkin aamupala taivaallinen. Ulkopaikkakuntalaisena oli helppoa siirtyä kaupungille ja takaisin, sillä ratikka kulki lähes oven edestä tasaisin välein. En myöskään muista nukkuneeni niin hyvin pitkiin aikoihin, kuin tuolla. En näe syytä, etten vierailisi toistekin 😊

Room is specious & there is a bathtub as I requested. I didn’t research well before the booking, but I was disappointed that the sauna is only open free for the guest for weekend. I didn’t expect this at the hotels in Finland. Also breakfast selection was little less compare to other hotels in Helsinki
However, hotel staff were all very nice. Great to have free breakfast, fika and dinner. Overall it was good, but I wouldn’t choose this hotel next time. Just it doesn’t suite our travel style.

Check in was easy. We were early but they held our large bags for us till the room was ready. Afternoon pastry and coffee, dinner, and breakfast included. Staff is excellent. Didn't know this was an old prison. If that is an issue you may not like it. But this is a beautiful facility.

Wunderschönes Hotel mit einem erstklassigen Service.
Das Zimmer war sehr schön und gepflegt.
Das Essen war Einwandfrei und Reichlich.
Alle Mitarbeiter waren immer sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit in Helsinki.
