We loved being able to meet Santa Claus, have a nice chat, and take a beautiful photo. He is very charismatic and attentive. The staff was also helpful and kind to us. We purchased the printed photo as well as the digital version by email. It turned out beautiful! We also sent postcards to our family that will be delivered at Christmas — it was a truly moving experience!

Unsere Begeisterung hält sich in Grenzen. Wir sind keine Meckerer, Aber dies ist was kommerziell Erschaffenes und nicht jedermanns Sache. Ein Souvenirshop jagt den anderen oder aber es ist so kostenintensiv, dass man es nicht kaufen kann/will. Eher was für Familien mit Kindern und Touristen. Für uns eher abschreckend

Meeting Santa Claus excited everyone regardless of age. We were looking forward to it. I don't want to believe that you can enjoy talking to Santa so much.
He can even thank you in Polish. Despite the visit to the village at 27 degrees ( July), I remember my stay exceptionally. The photo with Santa is one of the most valuable in my photographic collection of memories. Accommodation is very comfortable. I hope to visit the village in winter someday.
Friends had a surprise - they received Christmas greeting letters from Santa Claus himself. It's a brilliant idea. I'm glad I was able to give them such pleasure. Unforgettable and interesting memories and souvenirs.

Poor Santa Claus.. I had a high fever later that day, I hope I didn't get infected with anything.

Visiting Santa Claus Village🎅🏻felt like stepping into a storybook that suddenly became real📸From the moment I crossed the Arctic Circle line painted on the ground, there was this sense of magic in the air—like I was standing at the border between everyday life and childhood dreams.☺️

The highlight was, of course, meeting Santa Claus himself. Even though I’m an adult, sitting across from him brought back a wave of warm nostalgia. He listened with a kindness that felt genuine, as if every visitor mattered. For a moment, I understood why so many people—children and grown‑ups—travel thousands of miles just to sit in that room.

The village itself was glowing with twinkling lights, snow sparkling under the pale Arctic sun. The reindeer rides added an authentic touch, and I enjoyed hearing the sleigh bells echo softly in the quiet winter air. There was also a sense of timelessness—modern shops and cafés blended with the feeling of old traditions passed from generation to generation.

What struck me most was how the place reminded me of the value of wonder. In our daily lives, we often lose that childlike excitement, but Santa Claus Village seemed designed to give it back.

Santa Claus Village isn’t only about Christmas—it’s about keeping alive the spirit of joy, generosity, and imagination. I left with frozen fingers, a warm heart, and the comforting thought that maybe, deep down, we all still believe in a little bit of magic. ✨

Gehört einfach dazu, insbesondere für jeden der "Wo der Weihnachtsmann wohnt" kennt. Ja, es ist sehr touristisch hier, aber dass weiß man vorher. Wir haben hier während unser langen Fahrt Mittagspause eingelegt. Um den Weihnachtsmann zu treffen haben wir gut 10 Minuten angestanden. Das Fotos mit ihm hat für uns als Familie 35 € gekostet (alternativ 50 € für Download mit Video über das Treffen). Für den Besuch der Rentiere waren noch mal je 7 € fällig. Jeder hat dann zum Anfüttern einen Birkenzweig erhalten. Hier muss man mit kleinen Kindern aufpassen. Die Großen Tiere wissen schon Bescheid und überfallen einen direkt am Eingang.
Der Kartenservice um am Weihnachten Post zu erhalten, hat wunderbar funktioniert.

Wir waren im September dort und waren echt enttäuscht. Nur billiger Kommerz aus China (die Kartons stapelten sich noch vor den Läden). Rentiere streicheln 20€ pro Person, haustierzoo 10€ pro Person, von Hundeschlittenfahrten 500m(!) will ich preislich garnicht reden.
Das optisch schönste war der Polarkreis und das Postamt
Wir würden nicht wiederkommen.

Wer Weihnachten mag, mag auch diesen Ort. Ich verstehe die Kritik nicht. Wenn man nicht drauf steht....wegbleiben. Ich habe jede Menge Weihnachtskarten für alle Kinder der Familie geschrieben und bin schon auf ihre Reaktionen gespannt wenn Post vom Weihnachtsmann ankommt.

At first glance, Santa Claus Village sounds like the ultimate Christmas experience — the home of Santa, a magical post office, festive atmosphere. In reality, it is nothing more than a glorified tourist trap.

Sure, for children, the photo with Santa and the official post office can feel special for a moment. But beyond that, you quickly realize the truth: the entire place is essentially a huge souvenir shop with a Christmas stamp attached to it. Prices are astronomical for absolutely everything — from food to trinkets — making you feel scammed at every corner.

The biggest disappointment is if you actually travel there as a destination. It’s marketed as something unique, but once you arrive, you’re standing in what feels like a dressed-up highway rest stop designed to drain your wallet. The “magic” is manufactured, shallow, and gone the moment you see the price tags.

If you’re already driving past and need a short break, fine — stop, stretch your legs, let the kids take their photo and move on. But as a standalone trip? Completely underwhelming and absolutely not worth it.
